Rihanna 'S M' Video Director Defends Raunchy Scenes
Graphic content of the Rihanna new single album 'S&M' has defended by the director behind the video.
The new video which is banned by youtube due to several sexually provocative scenes,the video networking website banned the video in 11 countries.
Melina Matsoukas said it was intention to create a video that would attract attention.
"So when you do something that's provocative, that's usually a repercussion,” she said.
“It's gonna be talked about or banned or slandered in some way. But it's making an effect and people are having a dialogue about it, so, to me, that's successful."
Rihanna is due to embark on a UK tour in support of the album later this year.
