At Pure Nightclub, Las Vegas on December 31, 2010, the New Year's Eve 2011 show had been hosted by the famous singer Rihanna.
After spending Christmas with her family in Barbados Rihanna arrived at Vegas and amidst reports that she has split with boyfriend Matt Kemp.
“It happened over the last few weeks,” a source said. “She basically was just over it.”
The pair dated for about a year.
“Matt’s sick of always following after her like a puppy dog all over the world. He wants something more normal,” said the insider.
“It was never as serious as it looked. It was always just [about] having fun.”
Rihanna — who has previously dated singer Chris Brown — recently insisted she’s “not ready” to get married.
“I’m only 22!” she said.
“I’ve heard the word marriage 400 times in the past few days, but no I’m not ready for that yet.”
